Licensed Borehole Drilling Contractor
Lipra Ventures Limited is a fully licensed borehole drilling contractor registered with the Water Resources Authority (WRA) of Kenya under the Water Act 2016. Our licence authorises us to undertake borehole drilling, borehole rehabilitation, and water well construction across all counties in Kenya. We maintain our licence in good standing through annual renewal and compliance with WRA technical standards.
Water Resources Authority (WRA) Compliance
All our borehole drilling projects are undertaken in full compliance with the Water Resources Authority regulations. We obtain the necessary drilling permits before commencing any project, submit borehole completion reports to WRA, and adhere to all technical standards for borehole construction, casing, and development. Our clients receive all required WRA documentation upon project completion.
NEMA Environmental Compliance
We are committed to responsible environmental stewardship in all our drilling operations. Our projects comply with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) regulations under the Environmental Management and Coordination Act (EMCA). We conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for large-scale projects, implement waste management plans, and restore drill sites to their original condition upon project completion.

Our engineering team is registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and our hydrogeologists hold professional qualifications from recognised institutions. Water Quality Standards
All water quality testing for our borehole projects is conducted at KEBS-accredited laboratories. We test for physical, chemical, and bacteriological parameters in accordance with Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) KS 459:2021 — Drinking Water Specification — and WHO Guidelines for Drinking-water Quality. We provide clients with comprehensive water quality reports and treatment recommendations where required.
